What happens on this trip?
SSIE LA Trip is a funded trip to Los Angeles, and gives students the opportunity to explore the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.
In previous years, SSIE has met and talked with Actors, Producers, Composers, Casting Directors, Film Executives, Talent Managers, Screenwriters, among many other alumni pursuing careers in the Entertainment industry.

Absolutely! We're excited to offer this opportunity to all undergraduates passionate about the entertainment industry. However, priority will be given to members of the SSIE core team.

We will be giving special consideration for SSiE Core Team Members as well as upperclassmen who are actively pursuing careers in the Entertainment Industry. But do not let this discourage you from applying, as everyone has a chance of being selected.

There is typically a co-pay for this trip that will cover your lodging and transportation. If you will need financial assistance, please indicate that on your application. Needing financial assistance does not affect your chances of being selected.
